We currently collect and process the following information:

How do we get your personal information, and why do we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

1. You have placed an order with us and provided information for us to fulfil your request. This information will not include card payment detail,  
2. You have requested information from us and provided contact details, i.e., an email address, social media contact address, or any other form of direct contact with you to enable us to complete the task.
3. You have replied to marketing material, i.e., newsletter, product details, etc., and freely agreed to provide the information. 
4. You have responded to an advert, i.e., an offer, etc., and the information you entered enables us to complete this.
5. We may also receive personal data directly/indirectly from advertising/marketing on social media sites, most of which you would have provided to enable us to fulfil your request.
6. We may share some of the above information with social media sites, i.e. Facebook, etc., to serve more relevant ads and improve your customer experience. (You can opt out of advertising marketing by visiting your social media sites).

1. Your information is securely stored only on our server within the EU. 
2. Your card payment details are stored securely with our payment provider Square, Privacy Policy.
3. Your contact details, including all or some of the contact details listed above, are stored with our email marketing provider Mailerlite Privacy Policy.

How long do we keep your personal information?

1. If you have purchased, your information is kept in our accounts system until you request otherwise.
2. Email marketing, if there has been no contact with you after six months, we will email you asking if you wish to remain on our email marketing list. If you reply, we will act on your response. 
3. However, if there is no response, we send a second email, and if that fails, delete your account. You can always opt in again at a later date. 
4. But this ensures we don’t become spam (Spam Policy) emails to you and helps us keep our email address lists current/live. 

Your data protection rights.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:-

• Your right of access – You can ask us for copies of your personal information. 
• Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think needs to be completed. 
• Your right to erasure – You can ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 
• Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing your personal information in certain circumstances. 
• Your right to object to processing – You have the right to object to processing your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to data portability – You can ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation or you in certain circumstances.
• You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond.

Lifestyle Eco Spam Policy

You don’t like spam. We don’t like spam. So we try hard not to spam.

We aim to provide you with excellent eco-friendly products with full details on how they are eco-friendly. Along with good and bad eco-friendly news, information and details of new materials coming from natural or recycled sources. Everything an eco-friendly person like you would want to know.   

If all goes well and you are happy with us, that’s great. But, if for any reason you are not, then we don’t want to keep filling up your inbox, so:-

1. You can email us at support@lifestyleeco.co.uk with what’s making you a little unhappy, and we will try and sort something out to eliminate the “little unhappy” bit. Or,
2. You can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe button on our emails for the emails you don’t want anymore. Or,
3. Sit back and wait for the mail marketing system to sort this out. If there has been no contact with you after six months, we will email you asking if you wish to remain on our email marketing list. If you reply, we will act on your response. If you do not reply, we will send a second email, and failure to respond to this, your contact details are deleted. You can always opt in again later, which would be great, but this ensures we don’t become spam emails to you and helps us keep our email address lists current/live.

Trust Policy

Finally, we do not sell or allow others to use your information to contact you directly. If someone approaches us with eco-friendly information, an exciting new product, or an offer that may interest or benefit you, we will email you that information. Then you can contact them directly if you are interested and want to take things further.
